The Interaction and Integration between Text Linguistics and Stylistics

Abstract

The article explores the interrelationship between text linguistics (textology) and stylistics within the framework of contemporary philological research. The study aims to provide a systematic elaboration of the theoretical and methodological foundations of linguostylistic text analysis. Particular attention is devoted to the characterization of text categories, the identification of the pragmatic potential of stylistic devices, and the comparative-stylistic analysis of texts belonging to classical and modern Uzbek literary language. The findings contribute to a deeper theoretical understanding of the functional-stylistic organization of texts and to the refinement of principles underlying their comprehensive analysis
