This article provides a comparative analysis of the capabilities of modern mathematical software packages — Mathcad, MATLAB, and Maple — in the process of calculating complex functions, specifically differentiation and integration. During the research, indicators such as computational algorithms, accuracy of results, processing speed, and user interface convenience of each software were examined. Special emphasis is placed on the efficiency of symbolic and numerical calculation methods in solving complex mathematical models. The article concludes with practical recommendations for selecting the most suitable software based on the specific characteristics of engineering and scientific research tasks
