This article examines the effectiveness of digital educational platforms in self-education and the development of language competence in learning English. The relevance of the topic is determined by the rapid development of information technologies and the growing popularity of online learning. The aim of the study is to evaluate the impact of digital platforms on the quality of independent language learning. The methods used include literature analysis, observation, and comparative analysis. The results show that digital platforms increase motivation, improve skills, and support personalized learning. It is concluded that they are highly effective in self-education.
