METHODOLOGICAL BASIS OF COORDINATES ON A PLANE

Abstract

This article provides a scientifically grounded examination of the coordinate system on a plane and its methodological significance in school mathematics education. The origin and development of coordinate systems, their fundamental concepts, effective teaching methods, and their role in modern educational methodology are analyzed. The article highlights the advantages of using visual approaches, didactic games, and real-life examples in teaching the topic of coordinates. The research findings confirm that the methodology of coordinates plays an essential role in developing students' mathematical thinking.
