This article analyzes the effectiveness of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies in developing the cognitive processes of children with intellectual disabilities. It examines the role of VR-based learning in improving attention, memory, thinking, and perception, as well as its advantages in providing individualized instruction, increasing learning motivation, and enhancing special education effectiveness. The findings confirm that VR is an important innovative tool for strengthening cognitive activity, improving knowledge acquisition, and supporting social adaptation.
