Abstract

This article explores the design of an intelligent food storage calculator aimed at ensuring food safety and reducing waste in public catering establishments. Using the "Freshfood" restaurant as a case study, an algorithm was developed to automatically calculate the shelf life of products based on their type, storage conditions, and temperature regimes. The research employs mathematical modeling and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles. The results indicate that the implementation of an intelligent calculator can reduce food disposal by 15-20% and enhance compliance with sanitary standards.
