Abstract

This article analyzes the role of blockchain technology in ensuring the security of modern computer networks. The decentralized architecture of blockchain, immutable ledger, and consensus mechanisms are examined as a foundation for protecting network infrastructure. The capabilities of blockchain in defending against DDoS attacks, managing user identity, and ensuring data integrity are highlighted. The article presents conclusions on the application of blockchain-based security systems in corporate networks, IoT environments, and government information infrastructure.
