This article analyzes the general concept of artificial neural networks, the architecture (construction) and principles of operation of artificial neural networks. The structure of neural networks, activation functions, principles of operation and various architectures - Feedforward (Feedforward neural network), Recurrent (Recurrent neural network) types are studied. Also, the advantages and areas of application of each model are highlighted based on examples.
